About the job:
As a Physical Therapist in a hospital, you work with people who are unable to perform normal movements because they are ill, injured or disabled. You help such people improve their movements and health by developing exercise and fitness programs. You also help them manage the pain and other problems.
As a Hospital Physical Therapist, you will have to:
- Be physically strong enough to perform some of the exercises
- Find the best recovery plan for your patient
- Sometimes work with patients on a long term basis
As a Hospital Physical Therapist, you will get to:
- Help people regain their physical health and confidence
- Make a good income
- 35-40 hours per week
- 10% work outside office
If you work with old people and those who have serious injury, you may also visit patients at their houses to offer physical therapy.

Rayane always liked the medical field but she didn’t want to become a doctor. She studied physical therapy because she could help people improve their conditions after injury.
Rayane currently works as a physical therapist in Al Rahma hospital for special needs. She specializes in treating older people with difficulties that result from old age or from injury. She helps them regain the basic skills that they used to have before.
