Nooreed is a non-political, non-sectarian social enterprise whose mission is to help young adults figure out what they want to be when they are older. But more than that, we want them to become successful and satisfied with their career and life.
Now you might be thinking, that's easy, I just become an engineer, a doctor, or a lawyer. Well, if that's what you like, then go for it. But there is a lot more out there - so we hope we can inspire your true passion!
Nooreed videos provide expert information on what jobs entail, what skills are needed, and much more. We also offer job shadowing opportunities which involve visits to job sites and interactions with the insiders.
Nooreed founders wanted this information for their younger selves, but they couldn’t find it! So they created Nooreed to help the youth and their parents in this critical journey. Nooreed will produce as many videos as possible so that every student can find a job they can relate to, adapt it to their reality, and thrive.
Nooreed Offers multiple services to help students with their future:
Career Assessment
Age Range: All Ages
Nooreed’s Free Career Assessment helps confused students determine which career options suit them best through answering a short series of questions. Students will receive a personality analysis and an introduction to several career paths that best match their personalities, interests, and skills. Once students have completed the assessment, they may browse through 100+ career videos and profiles.
Nooreed’s free professional career interviews provide students with the right information about various career paths. Students may also read about the local prospects for their dream career, learning facts such as, what is the average starting salary, what are the average working hours, what do they need to study in university, and more.
By taking the free career assessment and researching their options, students are empowered to think about their future in a productive way.
Connections to Professionals and Instructors
Age Range: All Ages
Through "Nooreed Connect", we offer an online community that links students to verified professionals and instructors who can help with many topics. Students can search by subject, find the appropriate professionals, review their background information, and schedule an online session with one of them. During the session, students can use audio/video chat, file sharing, and online collaboration tools to get a great learning experience.
Job Shadowing
Age Range: 15 to 20 years
Nooreed pioneered the nation-wide Job Shadowing program for students. By participating in this program, students can actually experience their dream career for a day. When students show interest in a certain major, and want to try out a job shadowing session, they must apply for a session on the website underneath the desired career. We then send them a preparatory kit; including guidelines and a consent form for parents to sign.
It is expected that students need 2 to 3 sessions to be able to determine what their decision is. After signing the consent form and paying the fee, the date and time are agreed upon by everyone involved. Then students attend the job shadowing session and reflect upon their experience. Students can book as many job shadowing sessions as needed.

One-On-One Counseling
Age Range: All Ages
Nooreed’s Career Counseling sessions are great for students who need one-on-one support and guidance through their career options. Students may ask all the questions they have, express their concerns, and share their thoughts regarding majors and jobs. It is expected that students need 2 to 3 sessions to be able to discuss all their concerns and the test results. Students are also then entitled to free follow-up communication over the phone, WhatsApp or email.
Students can book as many counseling sessions as needed.
